History

1951 : LOOK, THE BIRTH

Look was created in 1951 around a revolutionary ski binding. It has never lost this innovative gene and has regularly launched resolutely new products, real technological breakthroughs.

In 1985, Look launched its carbon fiber bikes when aluminum was still a novelty and simultaneously an automatic pedal to overcome the dangers of toe clips.

These innovations have radically changed the practice of skiing and cycling for millions of athletes.

2016 : THE BEGINNING

Under the impetus of its General Manager Thierry Fournier, the "Look Cycle" company, with its experience and expertise as a leader in automatic bicycle pedals, is developing the stirrup with the concept of a simple one-eye mechanism. articulated with a patented release system manufactured by Rid'Up.

2017 : THE FIRST AWARDS

The first generation of Rid'Up Plus stirrups instantly found its audience with a panel of tester riders who took part in the final development of the first series.

From the launch in July 2017, the first customer feedback has been exceptional.

The public at the Salon du Cheval de Paris largely selected the Rid'Up stirrups among the best innovations in the equestrian industry and the Rid'Up Plus stirrup is the winner of the Étoile de l'Observateur du Design.

2019 : RID'UP "FUN" MORE ACCESSIBLE SAFETY AND COMFORT

Rid'Up's development and innovation team develops and markets a more accessible range, keeping the Comfort and Safety properties of the patent.

The "Rid'Up Fun" range was born.

2021 : THE "GERMAN INNOVATION AWARD"

Rid'Up won the "German Innovation Award" in the "Excellence from business to consumer" category.

Launch of the Rid'Up patented wide stirrup leather, further improving rider comfort and performance.
